Ways to Entertain Yourself Online

The internet is an amazing thing, and as we get closer to winter, and the days get shorter and colder, it’s likely that we’ll all be spending much more time online.

Sometimes, though, it can seem that we go around and around with the same old websites and we can quickly get bored.

Here are some interesting ways to entertain yourself online:

Play Bingo

Bingo is a great way to have some serious fun, and you’ll even be able to find a list of the best new bingo sites to win on, with up-to-date and relevant information about the top sites that have been evaluated by experts. These include a number of different sites with signup bonuses, so you may even win big before you spend any of your own money.

Get Writing

Always fancied yourself as a writer? November is all about NaNoWriMo, which is when experienced and novice writers sign up to produce a 50,000 word book within 30 days. Sound challenging? It is, but it’s also an ideal way to get that first novel written- even if it’s not at all saleable, you’ll get in the habit of writing everyday, and since it’s all about getting the book written, you don’t need to worry about going back and rewriting any/editing until after November is over.

This is an excellent way to keep yourself entertained this fall, and you’ll find that all the research into your plot line and characters will have the time passing quickly for sure. pexels-photo-196660

Get Social

How often have you gotten a message from a friend and forgotten to reply? Then it just becomes awkward when you notice that message months later. Take the time to catch up with all of your old friends and answer any messages that have been gathering metaphorical dust within your inbox.

Learn

How often have you been wishing you could learn a new skill? Whether you’d like to take a course in political science, brush up on your math skills, or even learn a new language, you can do it all online. There are a number of universities that release their lectures online every year, so you can watch them from the comfort of your own home and learn plenty of new things without actually needing to go to the class. For those who like to receive credit for what they learn, why not sign up to do a course part-time through a college or university?

Work

Need some extra income? Consider using some of the skills you use everyday at work to earn online. Whether that means using your skills as a web designer to build a website, doing some freelance writing, teaching English via Skype, designing logos and business cards, or visiting the website Fiverr and seeing exactly what you can do to earn five bucks.

You may even find that you can tutor someone before an exam or find another, creative way to earn some cash.
